MUSICIAN

RAMANAN VENKATRAMAN

Ramanan has always been an avid musician since school days! In his early days he mostly played western music on the electric guitar and was a part of two Delhi based bands as their lead guitarist. He is also an audio engineer and has made music for many renowned artists from India. He has released several singles and albums under his belt.

He met his destiny when he was exposed to the world of Indian Classical music, which fascinated him greatly and Ramanan soon found that he was greatly drawn to the sound of the Hansveena, and had a burning desire to learn the instrument. After a period of pursuing his late Guruji Pandit Barun Kumar Pal, who finally accepted Ramanan as his disciple on 12th of July, 2014, on the auspicious day of Guru Poornima.

Ramanan is a senior disciple of Late Pandit Barun Kumar Pal and is training in the true Guru Shishya Parampara. On many occasions he has given various performances with the guidance and love from his Guruji. He is currently in New York and is continuing to spread his love for music.
